On Monday the 11th of November, our School Captains, Emmy and Felix held a special assembly with Ceres students, remembering not only those who fought in World War I, but also all the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve to protect our way of life. Students were very respectful when observing the minute's silence and have completed activities throughout the last few weeks to reflect and show respect.

Our last Wellbeing Day for the year took place on the 12th of November. Each class got to do two fun activities with the year 6 leaders.
The first activity was with the School Captains. They did 'lead the blindfolded' where the students would have to lead their blindfolded friends.
The second activity was with the environment leaders; they did an 'enviro challenge' and helped to plant succulents and clean up areas of the school.
The third activity was with the sports captains doing 'Jedi'. All of the students played a fun game while also showing good sportsmanship.
The final activity was with the Wellbeing Captains. They did 'wellbeing rotations'. Students would play Kahoot, do origami and play card games focussing on their wellbeing.
All of the activities that students would have done and thank you all for bringing a gold coin donation. It is very appreciated as all of the money went to the year 6 graduation.

Yesterday, students participated in our free safety program, delivered by an RACV educator. Students looked at passenger safety, pedestrian safety, bike safety and identifying hazards at home.
