End of Year Celebration!
Join us for a fun-filled evening as the PFC brings the community together to celebrate the end of another year at Essex Heights! This is a wonderful opportunity for kids to have fun with friends while you enjoy a picnic dinner, snacks, and drinks. Don’t forget to bring along picnic rugs or chairs to relax on.
Enjoy an entertaining performance by Felix the Magician, followed by carols sung by the Encounter Community Choir. We’ll also have Spiral Spud and Ice Cream vans available for purchase, so come ready to celebrate!
Date: Friday 29th November
Time: 5pm to 7.30pm
Location: The Heights at EHPS
Please RSVP (to help gauge numbers) via this link https://www.trybooking.com/CWUAD
Carnival 2025
We are thrilled to announce that EHPS will be hosting our next Carnival in November 2025, and we would love for you to be a part of it!
We are looking for passionate volunteers to join the Carnival Committee. If you'd like to be involved in Sponsorship, Entertainment, Social Media, Marketing/Promotion, Silent Auctions, Organising Stalls, or helping on the day, we’d love to have you! No experience necessary—just a willingness to get involved and have fun.
First planning meeting: Monday 25th November at 8pm (Online)
If you’re interested and would like to hear more about the roles on offer, please RSVP to ehps.carnival@gmail.com and we will share the meeting link.
Your support makes a big difference, and we can’t wait to work together to create a fantastic day for our children and the school community!
Next PFC Meeting
Join us for our final meeting of 2024 on Wednesday 11 December. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the PFC and find out how you can get involved in supporting our school and your children. We look forward to seeing you there!
Thanks,
Sam Watson
PFC President
Lost Property & Secondhand Uniform
If your child has lost clothing, you can check the four lost property boxes at school before school (before 8.50am) or after school (from 3.30pm). A reminder to ensure all your child’s property is clearly named so it can be identified and returned. Some suggestions for naming items are listed in the Community Information page of this newsletter.
Our final donation day for secondhand uniform items will be Friday 13 December (end of second last week of term) from 3pm to 3.30pm at the Stadium. We are grateful for any good quality, clean uniform items with the current EHPS logo you no longer require to sell as a fundraiser for our school community. A reminder that secondhand uniform is managed by parent volunteers and we ask that you only bring items in on the day and times specified above, or arrange for a friend or family member to deliver items on your behalf if you can’t.

Ritchie’s IGA Loyalty Program
Our school is part of the Ritchies Community Benefit Program (RCBP). EHPS received $16.37 from the RCBP in October.
If you shop at a Ritchies IGA (the local store is in Mount Waverley) and are a member of their loyalty program, please support EHPS by choosing our school as your nominated beneficiary. Each month we receive 0.5% of purchases made by customers who have selected our school each month. Please encourage family and friends who also shop at IGA to support EHPS.
