Miss Marks' Message
Hello everyone,
Senior School Camp
Last week, our Senior School camp was held at Kangaroobie. The camp was a wonderful experience filled with adventure, learning, and unforgettable memories. Students participated in various activities, including canoeing, a farm tour, an obstacle course that included dragging our bodies through mud and a night walk. I am sure that the Senior School students had many stories to share with their families when they returned home on Wednesday.
I would like to thank the teachers and Inclusion Team members who also attended the camp. They provided students with support, participated in the activities and enjoyed many laughs with the students alongside the memories created.
I have included some camp feedback from the Senior School students below.
World Teacher's Day
Last Friday, we recognised World Teacher's Day. Our teachers are dedicated, passionate and collaborative individuals who contribute to our school community every day. Our teachers are lifelong learners and have a vital role to play in shaping the future. Teachers inspire, motivate, and guide us every day. Their commitment to nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning deserves our deepest gratitude.
Reminders
A reminder that we have some key events in term 4. These include the Melbourne Cup public holiday, and our final Curriculum Day for the year on Friday November 29. We will soon also welcome our 2025 Foundation students for their transition program, along with a transition session for our current students later in the term.
A reminder also, that The Parent's Club will be leading a Zooper Dooper sale each Friday in November, beginning this week. Students wishing to buy a Zooper Dooper can purchase one from the Mudbrick building at the beginning of our second break for 50 cents.
Take care,
Chelsey
