2025 - Parents Need to Know
Foundation Transition Days for 2025 Students
Students who have enrolled to attend Teesdale Primary School in Foundation 2025 are invited to this year’s transition mornings.
The dates and times of these mornings are:
- 12th of November 9.15-10.15am
- 19th of November 9.15-10.15am
- 26th of November 9.15-10.15am
- 10th of December 9.15- 11am (State-wide Orientation Day)
During their time at school, students will participate in a range of activities that help them get to know teachers and other students. They will have the opportunity to become more familiar with our school facilities. Please bring a drink bottle and hat on the day.
Families will drop off and pick up their child under the cover of the Mud Brick Building. Staff will be at the front gate to provide direction and assistance with checking in.
Information Sessions for Parents
There will be two information sessions available for families to attend during the transition program. These will be facilitated by our Learning Specialists, Rhys Lindsay and Catherine Barnett.
- 19th of November (Wellbeing)
- 26th of November (Learning)
These information sessions will be at the same time as the transitions mornings and held in the Mud Brick Building.

Uniform Fitting Bookings for New Students
Noone Bellarine in Geelong is our school's official uniform supplier. Noone is offering new student uniform fitting appointments from October to December.
Please read the attached information on how to book your appointment.
School Saving Bonus
Parents and carers of every child enrolled in a Victorian government school in 2025 will receive the one-off School Saving Bonus $400 support.
In the coming months, the Department of Education will send you two email communications for each of your children enrolled in Victorian government schools.
By Friday 18 October 2024, please ensure that your child’s 2025 enrolment is completed and that your contact information is up to date.
The 2 emails from the Department of Education will:
- Confirm your email address between mid-October and late-November.
- Provide you with your unique $400 School Saving Bonus code by the end of November.
If you do not receive a confirmation email from the department by late-November, please check your spam or junk folders and contact Teesdale Primary School if needed.
