It's in the Bag

Dear Parents,

This Term the Year 5 and 6 Girls along with Mrs Moxon are participating in the Social Justice Initiative “It’s In The Bag”. This initiative is developed by Share The Dignity who assist Women, Teenagers and Mums and Bubs who are facing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence and/or experiencing financial difficulty to have access to essential items. We are really hoping that we can get the Whole School involved. 

We are asking that the following Year Levels donate the allocated items:

Prep: Shampoo & Conditioner

Year 1: Toothbrushes & Toothpaste

Year 2: Travel Size Tissues & Wipes

Year 3: Travel Size Hand Sanitiser and/or Small Hair Brushes

Year 4:  Body Wash & Soap

Year 5/6 Boys: Womens’ Roll On-Deodorant and/or Small Umbrellas

The donation tubs for these items will be in classrooms, if you would like to contribute more to this wonderful cause, the next slide has all of the items we are looking for. We will have donation points for extra items located in Mrs Moxon’s Classroom or the Office.

Could we also please ask that if any Parents have any connections that the girls and I could contact and ask for donations, please email Mrs Moxon at kmoxon@smhampton.catholic.edu.au

Also, if we have any sewers out there that would like to make scrunchies and/or small make up bags to donate, we would most appreciate it.
