Welcome to CJC 2025 from the PC!

The Parent’s Committee would like to welcome the new prep families to the CJC community! We hope the students and their families have had a smooth transition into school life. 

Thank you to the volunteers who put on the second hand uniform stall this morning. If you missed out today, there will many chances throughout the year to purchase second hand uniforms via the stall.

PC meeting Monday

The Parents Committee (PC) will be holding their first meeting of the year on Monday morning. The meeting will take place at school from 9-10am.  All are welcome.

General News

Class Convenors We are looking for a few more class convenors for 2025, Prep C, Prep D and 5/6A For any parents/carers wishing to be a class convenor this year, please send your expression of interest to the PC email -   caulfieldjuniorpc@gmail.com, via the 2024 convenors chat or reach out to Head Convenor Martine Inge. This is a wonderful way to volunteer within the school and meet other families. 

Parents Committee – The parents committee is open to all parents/grandparents/carers at CJC. We have regular meetings throughout the year (both in person and online), and work towards fundraising goals at the school such as the soon-to-be new senior playground. The PC supports various volunteer groups such as the gardening group and End Of Year party. Specifically, the PC is looking for a new vice president, if you are interested in volunteering for the vice president position or to be involved with the PC please contact the PC email - caulfieldjuniorpc@gmail.com.

Child Safety: A reminder that all parents/carer’s who wish to volunteer at CJC must have a Working With Children Check – it is free for volunteers and you can apply online here: Working with Children Check (service.vic.gov.au)

Friday Treats:   Throughout term 1, we will sell pain aux chocolate ($4.50) from Reverie Café and icey poles ($2) after school from 3.30pm until 3.45pm. Friday treats will be on sale from today. 

Library Helpers: Library helpers wanted! If you are able to help out in the library sorting and reshelving books etc, please contact Lisa Hermelin (librarian) via compass. Volunteers can come in any day and time.

CJC Families Facebook Group: Did you know that we have a CJC Facebook Group called CJC Families?  The page is used to inform our community of CJC Events, sell 2nd hand uniform, find a babysitter and more. The page is private, and you must be a CJC community member and answer the questions to join.
