Meet our new school captains!

Myles

Hello everyone my name is Myles, I am eleven years old, I have been at this school since year two and I am one of your school captains for this year. My hobbies are sports, specifically basketball and footy, music, guitar, swimming and reading. I really enjoy math, stem and sport. One of my aims in life is to become taller than my older brother (I am nearly there). As a school captain this year I am aiming to achieve lots of things. One of my goals is to make sure that everyone wants to come to school, tries to be the best version of themselves and enjoys their time at this amazing school. I feel privileged to be one of your school captains and I hope everyone has the best year at CJC.

Emma

Hello, my name is Emma Woodger, I am 11 years old and turning 12 this year. I was born in Melbourne, I am a libra, my favourite colour is green, my favourite animal is an elephant, and I am one of CJC’s School Captains for 2025! I wanted to be School Captain for many reasons but above all, I wanted to become School Captain for being able to speak in public and all the responsibilities that I may receive to help support the school community. This year, as School Captain, I want to achieve two things:

• The first one, is for everyone to feel safe and happy in learning and development.

• And the second one, is being able to develop leadership qualities and grow confidence in public speaking.

I am really excited to be back at school and I am looking forward to another great year at Caulfield Junior College! 

Leo

Hi my name is Leo I am 12 years old, I have been chosen by my peers to be a school captain for 2025.

I like my school because the teachers are really nice and we do a lot of interesting things.

The principals are really funny (above all Mr. Borg's disguise). We always learn lots of stuff that we will use in the future and as a school captain I hope to make this place better than it is now to bring more children from all around the world to our school.

I have been at CJC for only 1 year and 8 months and I really don’t want to be in any other school than this one. I have all my friends here and a great learning space, also super activities to learn and a great learning programme.

Noa

Hi my name is Noa and I’m very excited to be a 2025 school captain. A few fun facts about me is that I love reading some of my favourites being The Wishing Chair, Harry Potter and Keeper Of The Lost Cities. I’ve played basketball since I was 8 and I have two older sisters who both went to CJC. I myself have been at CJC since prep and can’t wait to make this year the best one yet.

Welcome to our 2025 Prep cohort who have started school this morning.  It is such a privilege to be part these young learners’ primary education journey.  We want to thank all the families for their trust.  It is our mission to offer exceptional learning opportunities!

Our class of 2025 received their special jacket

Our class of 2025 have received their special bomber jackets this week!  They can wear it proudly this year, as student leaders.  It is a very exciting time for them, and they look very smart!

Nos élèves de 6ème ont reçu leur veste spéciale cette semaine !  Ils peuvent la porter fièrement en tant que leaders des élèves.  C’est un moment spécial dans leur année, et ils ont fière allure !
