The Huddle

Last weekend Year 5 Student Isabella Jabboury, representing her club Port Hacking, competed at Regionals and produced some great results.

She came 4th in the Hurdles, 3rd in the 70 m Dash and finished 1st in the High Jump, jumping a very impressive 1.21m.

Well done Isabella!

Year 3 Basketball Clinics

In preparation for their upcoming Basketball competition against SCEGGS and Ascham, our Year 3 students participated in two Basketball Clinics on Friday and Saturday. Under the tutelage of Head Coach Barfour the girls were given a crash course on all the fundamentals of basketball. The players went through passing, dribbling, shooting and game play with the aim to prepare them for their Basketball journey that tips off next week.

Year 7 Water Polo and Tennis have a Winning Start!

Early February marked the first week of sport for our Senior School girls, and what a fantastic start it was! Our Year 7 teams in both Water Polo and Tennis kicked off their seasons in style, securing victories across the board.

For many of our Water Polo players, this was their very first game, yet they rose to the occasion with an impressive performance. In a thrilling match against Tara, the team displayed great teamwork and determination, clinching an 11-9 victory. It was wonderful to see their hard work in training pay off, and starting the season with a win made it even more special!

Our four Year 7 Tennis teams also had an outstanding weekend, with all teams securing wins in their opening matches. I had the pleasure of watching Kambala 9 and 10 compete at Snape Park, and the level of Tennis on display was truly impressive. I can’t wait to see our Year 7 players continue to shine throughout the rest of the term!
