Industry Spotlight – Urban Planning

Urban and regional planning is all about making neighbourhoods, towns and cities better for everyone. It is a multifaceted field focused on designing, developing, and managing the growth of towns and cities. Urban planners create land-use plans, review development applications, assess environmental and social impacts, and collaborate with government bodies, developers, and community stakeholders to ensure that urban environments are liveable, sustainable, and well-integrated. Their work can range from strategic, long-term policy development to day-to-day project management and development assessment.
