ITALIAN

What's happening in Italian?
In Italian, our Preps have been working hard on learning how to introduce themselves in Italian, They have been taking turns at asking each other 'Come ti chiami' and responding 'Mi chiamo ...' using simple greetings and phrases to introduce themselves in Italian. They enjoyed talking about and drawing a picture of what they like doing.
The Junior School students have been learning the Italian alphabet song, which helps with their pronunciation and familiarity with the letters. Their pronunciation of the letters is very impressive
They practised their pronunciation of the letters by playing 'Hang Man' using names of students in the classroom.
Meanwhile, the Middle and Senior School students have been focusing on mastering the correct pronunciation of the Italian alphabet, paying special attention to sound combinations with vowels and consonants.
They practised the sound combination drills in pairs, filling the room with lively sounds and an atmosphere of learning.
We're proud of the students' progress and enthusiasm for learning a new language!
Well done everyone, keep up the excellent work!
