Cricket the Big Bottles took on the Leprechauns in Boorowa, with the match being abandoned halfway through the second innings

 

James Green top scored with the bat, while Ben Close and Oliver Miller taking 7 wickets between them. This weekend the Big Bottles host the Bribbaree Rams.

 

 

In Junior cricket another 300 runs were scored in the game between Gold and the Warriors, with Gold coming out on top.

Jacob Halls top scored with 27 runs from 15 balls, and was well supported by George Manion, Angus Burton Taylor, while with the ball Archer Dowling was the pick of the bowlers with 4/11 off his 3 overs

Green had the bye

This weekend Gold travel to Coota to take on the Sixers while Green head to Young to take on the Warriors 

Boorowa Tennis Classes are starting on Monday 10th February with options available for the whole family! A nine week program available.

Touch Football is on both Tuesday and Thursday with catch up games from Round  8 on the Tuesday and Round 12 games on Thursday, kicking off at 6:30 with the following matchups.

Junior touch is back on as well from 5. They also ask that kids playing junior touch bring their hats and water bottles

 

Rugby the Goldilocks have started preseason at the Rec Ground on Fridays from 6:30. All skill levels and experience welcome - come down and get involved in some fitness!

League the Rovers and Roverettes have started their pre-season Tuesdays from 6:30 at the Rec Ground. Registrations are now open for the upcoming season.

 

 

 

 

Gun Club Tuesday Night Practice at Boorowa Gun Club from 4.30pm until 7.30pm every Tuesday subject to weather and staffingThey reported good numbers to their first shoot of the year, and I will post the results once I get them.

 

 

 

 

Big shout out to Justin Smith for winning the champion of champions in Adelaide at the SA state carnival over the weekend, well shot mate

 

 

Boorowa Running Club meets every Friday morning at 6:15 am and Sundays at 8 am at the cricket nets. All welcome you can run or walk 3 or 5 km.
