PE News – A Busy and Active Term!

It’s been a jam-packed term in Physical Education with an exciting variety of sports and activities keeping students active and engaged. We've explored self-defence, honed our skills in cricket, and introduced an Ultimate Frisbee clinic, which has been a real hit with students across all year levels!

We’ve also had a strong participation in Dendy District Athletics and the Basketball Lightning Premiership, with students showing great sportsmanship and school spirit.

This week, we’ve dived into our Swimming Program at Ashburton Pool. It’s been wonderful to see so many children enthusiastically taking part in their lessons and making the most of this fantastic opportunity to build confidence and competence in the water.

Sport plays such an integral role in primary school, not only in supporting physical health but also in developing teamwork, resilience, and confidence.

We’re incredibly proud to offer such a broad and engaging program to our students.

Here’s to another busy term in PE for Term 4, as we finish off our year strong and continue to appreciate the ability to be physically active and connected through sport.

Many Thanks,

Ms Christie Birch
