Celebrating Creativity, Innovation & Talent
At the heart of our College are students who dream boldly, create with passion and strive for excellence in every endeavour. This edition is a celebration of their gifts—whether expressed through the arts, discovered in technologies, achieved in academics, or lived out through character and service. Each story reflects the unique ways our students are growing, inspiring others, and shining their God-given talents brightly. Together, we celebrate not just their accomplishments, but the spirit of creativity, innovation and resilience that makes our community so vibrant.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the staff who made this event possible. Your support is invaluable to the success of our students.
Mrs Corinna Herbert | Head of The Arts
This year, our students proudly took part in YOHFEST 2025, one of WA’s largest youth arts festivals. With the theme “Colour My World”, the festival celebrated creativity and expression while promoting wellbeing through the Act-Belong-Commit message. More than 3,000 entries from 130 schools highlighted the power of the arts to connect, inspire, and support positive mental health.
Our school contributed across dance, drama, film, music, and visual arts, with students exploring the theme through imaginative and heartfelt works. Each entry reflected not only their talent and teamwork but also a commitment to sharing stories that build resilience, connection, and community.

From 15–18 September, our Dance Studio was transformed into a vibrant professional gallery for the annual Arts and Technologies Showcase. The exhibition brought together an inspiring collection of student work from Years 6–12 across Visual Arts, Food and Textile Technologies, Woodwork, Design–Graphics, and Photography. Visitors explored striking artworks, innovative designs, carefully crafted woodwork, expressive photography, and even deliciously creative gingerbread houses! This year’s showcase once again highlighted the incredible imagination, skill and dedication of our young creatives.

A huge congratulations to all our award winners, and to every student whose work was displayed—you should be so proud of your creativity and effort.

Our Kingalings teams were absolutely Jump Jam-tastic at the recent competition! For many students, it was their very first time performing on stage and they showed incredible courage and energy. With tough competition from schools fielding up to five full teams, our students shone brightly:
We are very proud of the effort and performance of all our students.

Our Year 2 and 3 students had the chance to shine on the big stage at the KGT Junior during music class with Mr Cameron Harries this week! From singing and dancing to comedy and rap, every act brought smiles, laughter, and cheers. Most importantly, each student showed great courage as they shared their talents, with so much teamwork and collaboration on display.
