Marine Ambassadors

On Tuesday the 2nd of September the science captains went on an excursion. We went to a canal and nature reserve in Brighton. We had such an amazing time and learnt about frog noises, went ponding for macro organisms and testing water for contaminants. We also learnt about how to keep plastic out of our water ways.
The highlights for us were ponding and frog identification. These are important to our understanding of the level of pollution in the water and how living things respond to changes in the environment.
It was an awesome experience with the I sea I care program. A big thank you to Mr Park for taking us.
