TERM 4 FOCUS

This term all year levels are focusing on recycled art. We will explore how to turn unwanted packaging materials and cardboard into wonderful works of art. We will learn about some wonderful artist from around the world who are trying to promote awareness of the impact waste can have on both animals and the environment.

FOUNDATION - TERM 4

• Using a variety of materials to make worry dolls

• Working on mixed media projects to combine skills learned throughout the year

   

YEAR 1 & 2 – TERM 4

• Creating a mixed media project to explore different materials and combine skills

• Turning recycled materials into amazing food sculptures

   

YEAR 3 & 4 – TERM 4

• Using recycled packaging to create environmental awareness about marine creatures

• Exploring different artists who use trash to create masterpieces and work to promote conservation

   

YEAR 5 & 6 – TERM 4

• Creating a self-portrait to explore the three layers of their identity by making a mixed media project

• Learning about kinetic art and creating a moving artwork from recycled materials to explore their future aspirations
