Introducing our target classroom procedures and routines:
This Term, PLC teams have undertaken an improvement cycle focusing on classroom procedures leading to clear and established routines. We identified 4 classroom routines that we feel will have a positive impact on learning next year and moving forward. PLC members have trialled these routines in some classrooms already, and we look forward to implementing them from the start of 2026 across the whole school.
At the start of the year, teachers will be taking the time to explicitly teach each routine to ensure that they are embedded consistently and successfully. Throughout the year, we will continue to review these routines.
Thank you for engaging with our newsletter items throughout the semester. We look forward to bringing you more updates about teaching and learning at CPS in the new year! We wish everyone a safe and restful break and look forward to an exciting year of learning ahead.
