School Bus

To travel to school by bus an application must be completed and submitted.

Bus Travel in 2026

As you may or may not  be aware there will be no more bus fares in 2026!

New families are still required to fill out an application form for their child/ren and hand it into our office.  Eligibility will be approved only if there are seats available.  Mount Beauty Secondary College will liaise with Falls Creek Coach Service and let the our office know. We will then advise families of the outcome. 

The Department of Education and Public Transport Victoria have reviewed the current situation of bus travel in the Upper Kiewa Valley.

The bus policy states that any student using the bus service to attend a school other than their closest school must pay $125 per term. This payment must be paid in advance to the student’s school before they are permitted to travel. 

Any new students wishing to use the school bus service to attend a school other than their closest primary school, will need to pay.
