Futures Expo - Thank you to our volunteers!
On Thursday 6 June we were delighted to welcome Old Saints, parents and friends for the Year 10 Futures Day and Expo to All Saints' College.
The Futures Day is designed to give Year 10 students an idea of potential career pathways to better guide their subject selection in Years 11 and 12. The students embarked on an engaging and informative day, where they learnt more about career pathway opportunities.
The fourth session of the day included various industry panel discussions led mainly by Old Saints and Parents and Friends' Association members. The students enjoyed soaking in wisdom from close to 40 Old Saints, parents and friends, who generously shared their career pathways and life journeys as part of panels.
Later in the afternoon students visited the Futures Expo in the Dance Studio, which was bustling with industry experts and training organisations, as well as Old Saints, parents and friends, who were eager to share their wisdom and advice.
A huge thank you to the volunteers for sharing their advice and knowledge with students, and to everyone who made this day possible!
Old Saint Olympian prepares for Paris games!
We celebrate with Old Saint Luke Pavillard (Class of 2013), who has been selected for the Australian Men's Water Polo team to compete at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, France
Luke began studying at the University of the Pacific in Northern California and playing for their Water Polo team, Pacific Tigers, in 2015. Over the next seven years, he scored an impressive 248 goals for the team and numerous accolades, such as the Golden State Conference Player of the Year.
After shining in the US, Luke returned back down under and to the Aussie Sharks in 2022. Since then he has been making waves internationally, representing Australia at prestigious events such as the FINA World League Intercontinental Cup and the World Aquatics Championships.
Now, Luke has reached the pinnacle of his career by earning a spot on the Australian Men's Water Polo team, and we can't wait to watch him compete on the world stage.
