Life Membership Recognition
Following on from the Honorary Life Members recognised in the last edition of the College Courier, we would like to recognise Mrs Charmian Barnett as our most recent Life Member. Mrs Barnett was awarded Honorary Life Membership in recognition of her dedication, commitment and countless contributions to the P&F and All Saints' College over many years. She joins our esteemed Life Members Jeremy Allen (appointed in 2001) and Phil Angel (appointed in 2003), who were officially presented with their certificates last month.
Mrs Barnett's journey with ASC began in February 1993, and she was actively involved in the P&F for seven years, serving in a variety of roles including Vice President, Ladies’ Forum Chairperson, and P&F Nominee to the College Board. Beyond her formal roles, Charmian generously volunteered her time, making a significant impact on our community. All Saints’ College and the Parents and Friends’ Association thank Charmian for her unwavering dedication!
P&F Special General Meeting

Notice is given of a Special General Meeting of the Parents & Friends' Association, to be held on Wednesday 19 June 2024 at All Saints' College.
At the 2023 Annual General Meeting of the Association (15 February 2023), a proposal to amend the Constitution was made and passed by the required majority of members voting. The amendments agreed to were largely to comply with the provisions of the Associations Incorporation Act 2015 (WA) (the Act), and the Association has been operating under those Constitutional provisions since that time.
The Constitution as amended by the 2023 AGM is available on the P&F’s page in the MyASC website. However, a provision in the Act requires Incorporated Associations to advise the regulator under the Act of changes agreed to within 30 days of the decision being made. Unfortunately, this was not done in 2023, and the proposal is simply to reaffirm the Association’s support for the Constitution as amended at the 2023 AGM, under which the Association has operated since then.
The Special General Meeting will be immediately followed by the P&F Community Meeting.
