Wii Gaay Mentoring Zoom Sessions 1 and 2
Over recent weeks the first of a series of Zoom Mentoring Sessions were held for Year 4-6 Wii Gaay students from schools across the Armidale Diocese. During these sessions students have heard inspirational life stories from Thomas Draper and Karla McGrady, both inspirational and successful Aboriginal leaders in their respective careers. Both Thomas and Karla are from towns within our diocese and they shared stories of the challenges they have faced in their lives and the personal qualities and strategies that have assisted them to overcome these. Students really enjoyed these sessions, engaging with enthusiasm and asking some insightful questions. We look forward to taking part in more of these sessions as the year continues.
