MIDDLE SCHOOL NEWS

Middle Sub-School Manager

The end of semester has come around quickly and with that students have been very busy completing exams and assessment tasks to finish off their classes. Students will begin their new semester subjects starting on Monday the 17th of June. Teachers will be finalising reports, and these will be released in the near future.

Catch Up Exams

Students are expected to complete catch-up exams for any exams they may have been absent for. They should come to the Middle Sub School and organise a time with their coordinators to complete this.

Cybersecurity Workshop

Students from Years 9 and 10 were involved in a series of workshops designed to build awareness about the exciting and rewarding opportunities in the field of cybersecurity, and to help develop their problem-solving skills.

Year 9 Gordon Tertiary Futures Project

Students will be undertaking a variety of classes related to the workforce in Term 3. It is essential that students have an USI number for this. Information has been shared with students on Classroom on how to complete this and we would appreciate the support in making sure these are done before the beginning of Term 3.

Year 10 Careers Week

This will occur in Term 3 Week 3, and it is essential that all students attend this week of school. Regular classes will not run, and students will undertake an extensive week of pathway planning concluding with a sit-down meeting to select their subjects for next year. This will cover everything to do with VCE vs VCE Vocational Major and all other pathways available for students at the College.
