JUNIOR SCHOOL NEWS

Bennett Thomson

Junior Sub-School Manager

As we approach the conclusion of term 2, it is heartening to observe the Year 7 and 8 cohorts concluding the term with commendable strength. It is with great satisfaction that we, as a Sub-School, extend our congratulations for a term and semester marked by positivity. You have successfully navigated numerous challenges and enjoyed many accomplishments this term. Well done once again and let us strive to maintain this momentum through to the year's end.

Camp

The Junior Sub-School camp proved to be a resounding success, with participating students thoroughly enjoying the experience. Feedback received from the students was exceptionally positive. They conducted themselves with respect and were delightful attendees throughout the camp duration.

Exams

The students exhibited exemplary behaviour during their examinations in the gymnasium, a testament to their discipline and respect for the process, particularly noteworthy for those who were navigating exams for the first time. Staff members have shared positive remarks on the conduct of students from both year levels, which is a source of great satisfaction. It is the sincere hope that the outcomes of these exams mirror the dedication and decorum displayed during the assessment period.

Semester Two

Semester two begins as of next week 17th of June. This means that all students' electives in the Junior Sub-School will change. I ask that all students check their Compass prior to starting back on Monday after their three-day weekend; that would be greatly appreciated.
