Young People of Bayside Art Exhibition 2024

 

This year’s theme for the Young People of Bayside Art Exhibition 2024 is 'How I see the World'.

Open to young people aged between 10 and 25 who have a connection to Bayside (live, work, school, study, recreate). Artists may enter one piece of art.

Free entry.

Entries close Monday 8 July 202.

Melbourne Royal Art, Craft and Cookery Competition - Enter now on QKR!

 

The Melbourne Royal Art, Craft & Cookery Competition enables students the opportunity to showcase their creativity at the Melbourne Royal Show, held during the September school holidays at the Melbourne Showgrounds in Ascot Vale. Entries will be seen by hundreds of thousands of people visiting the Show.

 

Brighton Primary School is facilitating student entries into the junior competition. Some of the junior categories available to enter this year are:

  • Painting (Prep to Grade 2), (Grades 3 and 4), (Grades 5 and 6)
  • Drawing (Prep to Grade 2), (Grades 3 and 4), (Grades 5 and 6)
  • Print making (Prep to Grade 2), (Grades 3 and 4), (Grades 5 and 6)
  • Collage (Prep to Grade 2), (Grades 3 and 4), (Grades 5 and 6)
  • Digital Art (Grades 5 and 6)
  • Sculpture and 3D Form (Prep to Grade 2), (Grades 3 and 4), (Grades 5 and 6)
  • Photography (Prep to Grade 2), (Grades 3 and 4), (Grades 5 and 6)
  • Ceramics (Prep to Grade 2), (Grades 3 and 4), (Grades 5 and 6)
  • Drawing with Thread (Prep to Grade 2), (Grades 3 and 4), (Grades 5 and 6)
  • Soft Toy (Prep to Grade 4), (Grades 5 and 6)
  • Celebrating Agriculture Challenge - Painting (Prep to Grade 6)
  • Celebrating Agriculture Challenge - Photography (Prep to Grade 6)
  • Celebrating Agriculture Challenge - Ceramics (Prep to Grade 6)
  • Celebrating Agriculture Challenge - Decorative Textiles (Prep to Grade 6)
  • Re-purposed/Upcycle Challenge - Collage (Prep to Grade 6)
  • Re-purposed/Upcycle Challenge - Sculpture/3D Form (Prep to Grade 6)

Entry is $8 per item.  

 

If you would like to enter an item, please ensure your artwork is delivered to Miss Narelle (Visual Arts teacher) who will deliver your artwork to the showgrounds on your behalf, and return it after the exhibition.
