1C	Lucy K	For her amazing efforts in writing her information report. Lucy, you have worked so hard on all your facts about Bunnies! What a fantastic author you are!
1D	Ameera R	For your amazing, interesting and detailed writing about dolphins! Ameera, you have worked so hard all week, putting all your ideas together and combining it with your new knowledge to make an awesome information report. Well done superstar, you should be really proud of yourself!
2A	Chloe B	For showing a growth mindset and wonderful independence when having a go at subtraction mental strategies. Well done Chloe, keep up the fabulous work!
2B	Enzo K	For giving his best effort in all lessons, Enzo is a great role model for his peers when learning. Enzo has completed his subtraction tasks with brilliance this week, with such brilliance we haven’t seen since a prime Zlatan Ibrahimovic!
2C	Cruz G	For his fantastic inferring when reading. Cruz you are using text clues and your prior knowledge so well to understand the text. I have been really impressed by your comprehension! Keep up the great work!
2D	Jackson F	For your excellent effort, especially in maths and writing! You’ve also been a huge help to Grant during lunchtime doing jobs around the school, and with Miss M during yard duty! Keep it up superstar!
3A	Harper D	For being resilient by showing a growth mindset when faced with challenges. Harper, you are a superstar and I am so proud of your growth! Keep it up!

4C	Adnan E	For the effort he has been putting into his behaviour within the classroom. Adnan has been engaging in discussions about his behaviour, taking on feedback and making changes in the classroom. He has been listening during class discussions, raising his hand to share his ideas and working independently on his tasks. Well done Adnan, you should be proud of your efforts!

2A	Leo S	For his engaging presentation on optical illusions for Fascinating Facts. Leo, the class were so interested in what you were sharing and you organised your presentation to maximise audience engagement and participation. Keep up the amazing work!
2B	Sophie P	For always doing her best in every aspect of her learning, Sophie’s effort towards her study sets a shining example for peers. Sophie is also incredibly kind towards all students and teachers, and displays a growth mindset everyday.

4B	Mason L	For his increased focus during our mini-lessons. Mason, you are trying very hard and really working on improving yourself as a learner. This is evident of the high quality work you are producing. Keep up the super star effort!
4C	Sena B	For the incredible effort she has been putting into her mathematics learning. Sena has been working hard on our fractions activities and contributing to class discussions. She has been identifying halves and quarters in shapes, as well as exploring fractions of collections. Keep it up Sena!

6B	Hudson S	For your care, empathy and support with younger students over the last two weeks. Hudson, it’s great to see you using your leadership qualities and stepping up to help other students. I am really looking forward to seeing how the basketball clinic with Years 2 and 3 turns out, they are lucky to have you modeling positive behaviour and coaching.
6C	Ezra B	For his resilience and commitment to supporting his peers and the school community to create a welcoming, safe and positive environment. Ezra has shown great leadership qualities through his valuable contributions to the Pride Committee. Keep it up Ezra!

Student Newsletter acknowledgements

We LOVE to hear about student achievements outside of school. If there are any acknowledgements that parents/students wish to share with us and can be celebrated with our wider community, we ask that you email us at wembley.ps@education.vic.gov.au with the student/s name/s, a summary of the acknowledgement and any photos that you would be comfortable sharing and we will aim to include it in our fortnightly WPS newsletter.
