Year 11 Art Creative Practice

Year 11 Art Creative Practice students developed their knowledge of art elements and principles while experimenting with materials, techniques and processes to develop their eye-catching artworks.

Using inspiration from a variety of still life artists and modern artist, Georgia O’keeffe, students investigated her practice and painting techniques. Students considered how to present and display their magnified flowers and are congratulated on the development of their personal styles. Great effort!

Fun fact - Did you know that Georgia O'keeffe’s painting Jimson Weed/White Flower No. 1 in 1932 is the most expensive painting by a female artist ever sold at auction.
