Principal's message

Week 3 Advent.

Today in our assembly we lit the pink candle which represents the joy that Jesus brings to us.

Joy is the gift we all receive from the unconditional love Christ has for us.

Loving God,

We thank you for the joy you bring us.

Help us prepare our hearts for the Lord's coming by helping us see that Christ came for every person we meet wherever we go.

We ask this in the name of the one born in Bethlehem, Jesus our Lord.

Amen.

Dear Parents,

Thank you for another fabulous year at St. Bernard's.

Today we said farewell to  our Grade six students  who leave us for secondary school, we  look forward to a new class of grade six students stepping up to  lead our school to great things in 2024.

We thank all of our students for being who they are, the unique gifts that God created!

We thank our dedicated and committed staff who work tirelessly to provide the best Catholic Education for the children in our care.

We thank you, our parents, for your support and partnership in  entrusting our school to educate your children, and we look forward to working with our new staff and families in 2024.

We thank Father Nathan and Monsignor Cris for supporting us and leading us in the ministry of nurturing the faith development of our children.

We remind families that the beginning of the school year is Tuesday 30th of January 2024.

Parent and Child Meeting

Wednesday 31st of January at 6.00 pm is our very important parent and child night for children in grade 3-6 with Kirra Pendergast from Safe on Social.

You will have already received your letter regarding this night where we expect all parents to join us with your child from grade 3-6 so we can all work together to help our children know how to be safe with their digital devices.

Christmas Mass times

Mass times for Christmas and New Year are below.

I also remind parents that during this week  every night at 7.30 in St. Patrick's  Novena Masses continue until the 23rd of December, these will be held in St. Patrick;s church and all are welcome.

Visiting priests from across the diocese will be celebrating the different masses.

Have a happy and safe holiday until we meet again in 2024.
