We hope all staff and students have had a great break. With our Term 1 beginner and development Basketball programs starting very soon, we are reaching out to all schools who've had students engage with our programs in 2025 to kindly see if these programs could be promoted to parents using any avenues your school uses (newsletters etc!). We have programs suitable for very beginners right through well developed young players! Please see the image below! We are so fortunate to have a placement student working with us this year as part of a Masters of Therapeutic arts practice degree. Her name is Dominique and she will be joining us here at Brunswick South Primary for our Thursday afternoon art sessions. Dominique has vast experience working with children as she is a mother of 4, has worked in early childhood education, as an arts practitioner, with clients through NDIS, and is currently working as a school photographer. She has studied and worked in the arts, primarily film and fine arts, and health science for many years and is looking forward to expanding her already amazing skills to include working with primary aged children in the arts. I am so looking forward to having Dominique enhance our experience of art making and storytelling together throughout the year - Hooray!
