Glenn Johnstone began her journey at Beverly Hills Girls High School in 1962 as a Year 7 student, part of a generation of young women stepping confidently into secondary education during a transformative era in Australian schooling.
Records from 1962–1964 reflect a conscientious and dependable student. Her report cards show steady application and commitment to her studies, while formal recognition in 1963 through awards and certificates of merit highlight both her academic effort and personal conduct. A school reference from the time speaks to her character, reliability, and positive contribution to school life.
Glenn’s story reflects the quiet determination that has long defined our students. Long before it was ever spoken aloud, she embodied what has become our unofficial motto: Be Somebody.
Through diligence, integrity, and steady effort, Glenn Johnstone played her part in shaping the proud legacy of Beverly Hills Girls High School. We are honoured to recognise her as part of our enduring history.
Are you a former student with a story to share? We would love to hear from you, please get in touch and help us continue celebrating the generations who chose to Be Somebody.
