Year 7 News

We are delighted to welcome our Year 7 students and their families to our Beverly Hills Girls High School community.
The beginning of high school is such an exciting milestone, and already our students have embraced a wide range of new learning experiences. They are learning to conduct experiments in Science, to uncover the past as archaeologists in History, and to develop a genuine love of reading through their exploration of classic tales in English. From the very first day, our focus has been on creating a warm, supportive environment where students feel safe, valued, and enthusiastic about learning. During the first two Orientation days, students participated in Peer Support sessions, team-building activities, and guided tours led by our Year 10 Peer Support leaders, helping them build confidence, friendships, and a sense of belonging. This positive foundation sets the tone for a successful and rewarding high school journey.
We are proud of the positive culture we are building together and encourage all students to contribute to a community where everyone feels respected, supported, and able to do their best. This involves treating others with kindness, communicating thoughtfully, and taking responsibility for their choices. When we work together in this way, our classrooms become spaces where learning flourishes and friendships grow. We look forward to supporting each student’s academic, social, and personal development, and value the partnership we share with you as we begin this exciting new chapter.
Please remember that Mr Ferizis and Mrs Papadimatos are always here to support you, and we encourage you to reach out at any time if you have questions or concerns.
We wish you all the very best as the term continues and look forward to connecting with you at our Parent Teacher Night in Term 2.
