Trivia Night Online Silent Auction Link
Part of our annual Trivia Night fundraiser is a silent auction. 3 years ago, we moved this part of the event onto an online platform a few years ago - enabling our entire school community access to the auction instead of just the lucky attendees on the night.
Items will continue to be added right up until the event so keep checking in to see what amazing items we have up for grabs! Happy Bidding!
We are inviting our students to have a bit of fun and come to school dressed in their PJ's, dressing gowns and/or 'Oodies' on Friday 1st August.
We invite students to please bring along a gold coin donation on the day, which will be directed to awareness and supporting children in Foster Care.
Please note: slippers/ugg boots may be taken to school in your child's bag and worn in indoors in classroom spaces, however closed toe school shoes are required to be worn to and from school and outside in the school yard on PJ Day.
The specialist team would like to invite you to an open morning on Wednesday the 27th of August. Come and join in a morning of fun in PE, Art, Indonesian & Music/Performing Arts lessons with your child!
The morning will run from 9am until 11am and families are invited to come for all or just some of your child’s sessions. Please see the timetable attached.
It’s that time again! Newtown Primary School is about to embark on our annual Jump Rope for Heart Program! This program allows us to keep our bodies and minds healthy by learning new skipping skills while supporting and raising much needed funds for The Heart Foundation.
Earlier this week, students received a keyring and brochure containing a unique QR code. All students need to do it scan the QR code, search for ‘Newtown Primary School’ and then follow the prompts to join the NPS team. By signing up to the Online Portal, students can do things such as set a fundraising goal, seek donations via email, log their skipping minutes, and even upload videos to demonstrate the different skills they have learnt!
Please note: all fundraising must be completed online, and no fundraising cash is to be brought to school.
We will celebrate the success of this program on our Jump Off Day, where students will participate in a series of skipping activities run by our SLA students. This day will take place on the last Monday of Term 3 – Monday 15th September and all students will be encouraged to dress in or wear a pop of red.
Please stay tuned to track the top fundraisers and students who have clocked up the most minutes skipped, and don’t forget there are magnificent prizes for all the students who raise money as a thank you from the Heart Foundation!
Parent Payments are yearly financial contributions made to the school by families. These payments are an optional contribution and the ongoing financial support of our families ensures that our school can offer the best possible education and support for our students.
Usually collected through the book pack ordering portal during Nov-Jan each year, Parent Payments are accepted at any time throughout the school year. If you have not yet made a financial contribution to your child's 2025 Schooling and you would like to do so now, please contact the office. Payments are accepted at the school via cash or EFT or families may also wish to use BPay. Families also have the option of regular instalment payments.
