Term 3 Pathways Update

Year 9 students will focus on the steps involved in securing a casual job. This includes developing a resume, exploring local job opportunities, understanding the application process, identifying essential workplace skills, and preparing for job interviews.

 

Year 10 students will explore post-College pathways using the Your Career School Leavers Information Kit. The School Leavers Information Kit has been developed to help individuals uncover all the education, training, and employment options available to them post school.


Year 10 - College Transition Process

Subject selections for GYC are now complete. Thank you to all students who participated in the process.

For students who require further information regarding 2026 enrolments, GYC is offering additional information sessions. Bookings are essential for these events:

Hobart bookings          August 28 Hobart 3.30pm - 5.15pm

Glenorchy bookings    Sept 23 Glenorchy 3.30pm - 5.15pm

 

Students attending non-Catholic schools are reminded to carefully monitor key dates for information evenings and subject selection processes related to their 2026 enrolment.

Tasmanian Building and Construction Careers Expo

Thursday 31 July : Session 4 2.00pm - 5.30pm

Please note that Session 4 in the afternoon is the only session open to the public.
