Bee There or Bee Square - UHS Working Bee Sunday 14th September

It’s time for our Spring Working Bee, and we would love your help to give our school a fresh, clean start for the term ahead.

When: Sunday 14th September

Where: University High School - Story Street Campus

Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm

Join us for a fun morning of gardening, tidying, repairs, and special projects. Whether you’re an expert or just keen to help, there’s a job for everyone.

Tasks will include:

  • Gardening - weeding, planting, and tidying garden beds
  • General maintenance - both inside and outside the school
  • Special projects - tasks for those with a higher level of skills or trade experience
  • BBQ Support

This is a great opportunity to connect with other parents and carers, especially those with children in the same year level, while making a real difference to our school environment. Younger children are welcome but must remain under the supervision of their parent or carer. Together, we can create a bright, welcoming space for our students to learn and grow.

How to get involved:

Please fill out this Google Form to register your attendance by Monday 1st September and let us know your preferred working area and tasks. This helps us organise teams and resources in advance.

Your time and energy make a big difference, and we truly value your support in keeping our school looking its best.

Can’t make it on the day?

You can still be part of the Working Bee! We would be delighted to receive a donation such as BBQ supplies or gardening items during the week leading up to the event. Every contribution helps us create a greener, more welcoming school. If you would like to donate, please fill out this Google Form and we will be in touch.

And for those joining us in person, we have got a BBQ planned to keep our volunteers fuelled and smiling.

Your support, big or small, makes a world of difference to our school community.

Any questions, please contact us at university.hs@education.vic.gov.au
