PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Mrs Claire Ryan

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to Week 3's newsletter for Term 3.

After the recent severe weather and subsequent flooding, I want to express my sincere thanks for your understanding. The past week has been challenging, and your patience with our school closure and minimal supervision as we reopened was greatly appreciated. I'm relieved to hear that many of you remained safe during this time, and I hope our entire community is recovering well.

Next week, we welcome Jane Bezzina to our school. As previously shared on Compass and in the newsletter, Jane will be supporting our school to take part in a “Collective Commitment to Thrive” project. Throughout next week, Jane will engage with staff and the Sacred Heart community, offering insights and feedback tailored to the unique strengths and challenges of a small school. Input from staff, parents, and students will help shape a customised project, which will be delivered in response to the school’s specific needs.

I am seeking expressions of interest from parents in our school who would like to be involved in these conversations with Jane next week. If you are interested, please email me via cryan@arm.catholic.edu.au by Saturday, 9th August.

Thank you to all of our families for your patience and collaboration during the recent trial period of our extended school day. Your support in working with the bus company has been incredibly helpful. After a successful trial and positive feedback from the drivers, we have decided to continue with this new schedule. This means our home time bell will permanently ring at 2:55pm each day.

Wishing everyone a productive and rewarding Week 3!

Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions or concerns.

Warm regards,

Claire Ryan

Principal
