Student Leader Reports

We would like to introduce our leadership group to writing parts of the newsletter. It will be our goal to write to the community and inform them about activities and lessons that are happening at Clyde Primary School.
As a group we are super excited to continue our work with our school student leadership program.
Bullying No Way: National week of action
Review by Khalia Sa'ena-Baker (Year 6 Wellbeing Leader)
This week Clyde Primary School participated in the Bullying No Way: National week of action from the 11th to the 15th of August.
It was a great opportunity for our students to be informed on what bullying is and what to do if you need help. The live streamed mentioned topics such as the three types of bullying and if you are bullying someone it could really impact their wellbeing.
It was an amazing week and we all enjoyed it very much!
Classroom Observations
By Zena Utuva ( Year 6 School Captain)
At Clyde Primary School, the leaders have been visiting classrooms for observations to see how lessons have been going. In addition, tokens are given to students who are recognized for following the 3 R's: Respect, Responsibility and Resilience. Afterward, they give teachers feedback to help improve.
Book Week
By Ekam Dhillon (Year 6 English Leader)
Just a reminder that book week is next week the 18th to the 22nd of August. The parade is on the 22nd, which is on Friday. It will take place at 9:10 in the school gym. This years theme will be "Book an Adventure"! The leadership team will be reading stories to classes and there will be a range of activities. I'm looking forward to seeing all of the amazing book week costumes next week, I hope you have fun!
