Parent Conferences
Parent Conferences will be held the week of Monday 15th September to Friday 19th September. The purpose of the conference is to discuss your child’s progress and set some goals to support the your child before the End of Year report. A Compass message will be soon be sent out about booking information.
100 Days of Foundation
On Monday 4th August, our Foundation students celebrated a very special milestone – 100 days of School! On this special day they participated in many different and fun learning activities that related to the number 100.
Our Foundation students came dressed up as if they were 100 years old. It was wonderful to see some grey hair, walking sticks and glasses. They all looked absolutely fantastic! It was such a great day acknowledging how far our students have come in their first year of primary school. Please see our 100 Days of Foundation page for photos!

Big Goose Farm - Foundation Excursion
Today, our Foundation students visited the Big Goose Farm down in Moorooduc. Despite the weather, they had fun meeting and playing with the animals, giving them a feed, watching a farm show and taking a tractor ride!
Clyde's Great Spaghetti Pig Out!
A Year 5/6 Literacy Production
Our Year 5 and 6 students have undertaken an extensive study of one of Australia's most beloved children's authors, Paul Jennings.
On Thursday 11th September (6pm - 7pm), our students will present to their families, an adaption of his famous story “The Spaghetti Pig Out”, as they bring the story to life with song and dance. We hope their presentation will inspire you to discover—or rediscover—the magic of Paul Jennings' storytelling.
This event will replace previous year's school productions.
Students in Foundation to Year 6 will be able to view a matinee performance of this (information to come).
Father's Day Stall and Picnic
The Father's Day Stall is being held on Thursday 4th September. Prices will range from $1 to $5.
Please send your child along with small notes and change, as well as a bag for their gifts.
Further information will be released in the coming week.
Our Father’s Day Picnic will take place on Friday 5th September, gates will be open from 1.50pm. Gates will not open before 1:50pm due to students still learning.
Our special guests might like to bring a picnic lunch and find an available outdoor space within the school grounds to sit together as a family, we can arrange for siblings to sit together with their special guests. If the weather is not suitable for an outdoor picnic, then we will move the event inside into classrooms. If you intend to come to the picnic, please notify your classroom teacher through Compass or in person.
Footy Day and Sausage Sizzle
The Footy Day Parade and Sausage Sizzle will be held on Monday 8th September.
The parade will be held at 9:10am in the gym, with the sausage sizzle being held later in the day for students.
Your child has been sent home with a sausage order form this week. There are 3 options for dietary requirements, including chicken, halal beef and vegetarian. All sausages are being sold at $2.50.
Please be sure to write down the number of sausages your child would like to order and enclose the cash amount with the form.
Forms and payment can be returned to the office by Friday 29th August.
Fundraising for this event is going towards the Year 6 end of year celebration, Big Day Out.
Tea Towel Fundraiser
