Drawing Club
Join us each fortnight as we take a closer look at one of the recess and lunchtime clubs on offer.
Please see updated Clubs Timetables for the remainder of Term Four.
This week, we visited the Drawing Club, run by the Prep teaching team.
Are you looking for a fun and relaxing way to express your creativity during lunch? Join our Drawing Club, where you can unwind, learn new techniques, and connect with fellow students—all while creating art! Whether you're a seasoned artist or someone who just loves to doodle, this is the perfect space to explore your imagination.
What is Guided Drawing?
Guided drawing is a structured yet creative activity where students are led through step-by-step instructions to create their own artwork. Each week, we’ll focus on a different theme or technique—anything from cartoon characters, animals, and landscapes to abstract designs or still-life drawings.
Why Join the Lunchtime Drawing Club?
Boost Your CreativityDrawing is a fantastic way to unlock your creative potential. With guided drawing, you'll discover new ways to approach art, experiment with different styles, and gain confidence in your artistic abilities.
Relax and De-StressLunchtime can sometimes feel rushed, but drawing allows you to take a break from the hustle and bustle. Engaging in a calming creative activity can help reduce stress and improve your overall mood, making you feel refreshed and ready to tackle the rest of your day.
