Term Four - Event Details
Book Fair - Commencing Monday 25th November
Our Annual Book Fair will take place from Monday 25th to Thursday 28th November and will be held in the hall. The children will visit the Book Fair during their Library sessions that week and the fair will be open for sales before and after school that week.
Visual Arts Show - Wednesday 27th November
Our biennial Art Show will be held at school on Wednesday 27th November from 6pm-8pm. All students will have at least 3 pieces displayed in the showcase and the will be musical performances also. This is a whole school event and one where all children are expected to attend please. More information to follow.
Grandparents Day - Thursday 28th November
All St Agnes’ Grandparents and special friends are invited to our Grandparents Day on Thursday 28th November from 9am-10.30am. There will be a liturgy in the church led by the children, followed by morning tea and a tour of our Art Show.
2025 Staff Planning Day - Monday 2nd December
Our school will be closed for 2025 Staff Planning on Monday 2nd December. Thank you to all families for your understanding as we complete this important preparatory work.
St Agnes’ School Swimming Carnival - Tuesday 3rd December
St Agnes’ Swimming Sports Carnival will be held on Tuesday 3rd December at BlueFit Swimming School, Tulip Street Sandringham (9.15am-12.00pm). Further details will be communicated closer to the day.
School Advisory Council Annual General Meeting - Tuesday 3rd December
The SAC AGM will be held at school on Tuesday 3rd December from 7pm. New members will be elected to this council at this meeting and all are parents/carers are welcome.
Parents and Friends Committee Annual General Meeting - Wednesday 4th December
The P&F AGM will be held on Wednesday 4th December at 7pm at the school. All are welcome. More information to follow.
Year 5/6 Open Water Program - Thursday 5th - Friday 6th December
Our senior students head off to Mordialloc Surf Life Saving Club for an open-water swimming program. More information to follow.
Year 6 Final Assembly - Wednesday 11th December
The Year 6 Final Assembly will be held at the usual time on Wednesday 11th December. This will be a light-hearted, special assembly focused on sharing of memories of times at St Agnes’.
St Agnes’ Christmas Carols evening - Wednesday 11th December
All families are invited to attend our Christmas Carols evening from 6.30pm on Wednesday 11th December. It is a picnic style event and all family members are welcome.
Year Six Luna Park Excursion - Thursday 12th December
Our Year Six students and staff will head to Luna Park for their day of celebration on Thursday 12th December. More information to follow.
2024 Orientation Day - Friday 13th December
Students from Year 1 to Year 5 will spend the morning with their 2025 classroom teacher. This is an opportunity to form vital teacher/students relationships.
End of Semester Reports - Friday 13th December
Semester Two Reports will be made available online through nForma Parent Portal and a hardcopy will also be sent home on this day.
Year 6 Final Day - Monday 16th December
The Year Six students will finish for the year at 3.25pm. Parents will be invited into the classrooms for the last hour of the day, before the children are dismissed for the final time.
End of Year/Graduation Liturgy - Monday 16th December at 6pm.
We gather as a whole school to mark the end of the 2024 school year and celebrate our Graduating Class of 2024 at a Liturgy held in the church. All students from Prep to Year 6 are expected to attend and wear their full summer school uniform. Graduation celebrations for the Year 6 students and their parents will follow in the hall.
Final day for Prep to Year 5 - Tuesday 17th December
The school year concludes for Prep to Year 5 at 1.30pm.
