Thank you to all parents and carers for your patience in the morning. As our building works draw closer to being finished, we are seeing a much greater number of contractor cars parking in front of the school. This should only be over the next 3-4 weeks but we realise it makes it harder for families to find a car park on Belmont Road East.
You may like to consider a slightly later drop off for your child so you can enter the driveway following the buses or find a car park on the street. Please drive slowly on Belmont Road East at the front of the school and in the school driveway. You are also welcome to park in the Belmont Park car park and drop your child off at Gate 4 next to the park. Please let your child's teacher know if you are going to change your drop off location for this short period of time. We want to keep everyone in our school community safe! Please contact Christine or I if you have any concerns or questions about this.
Next Wednesday if the weather is fine, we will have our whole school off site evacuation practice. This means that students and staff will move to the tennis courts in Belmont Park. It is important for us all to have these practice drills so that everyone is aware of what to do in case of a real emergency situation.
I have been lucky enough to have a sneak preview of our wonderful 2024 Croydon SDS School Magazine. All classrooms and programs across the school have contributed to our magazine. These will be sent home with student reports at the end of the year. I know that you will enjoy some Summer reading and seeing all of the great activities that our students have been doing!
