Parents Committee
As I prepare to end my time as president of the parents committee, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the committee and all the volunteers who have assisted me over the past 3 years.
The committee events and school fundraising simply aren’t possible without helpers.
Because of this help from volunteers, we have had School discos, Easter raffles, Special food days, Trivia night’s and BBQ's both at Bunnings and here at school on Election days. We have been able to run the stall and social events for both Mother's and Father's Day and the amazing colour run to name a few.
Over the last 3 years through fundraising, we have been able to support the school by purchasing many things. Some of which are new Decodable Readers, which I'm told by teachers have made an enormous difference to the younger years. We were able to buy new boardgames and Lego to be used on the days when playing outside isn't desirable. We have contributed to new air-conditioning units and to the new passive play space. We have also been able to allocate money to the school garden to enable the kids to continue to learn from this space. Next, we will be having the outdoor ground games redone with fresh new designs and bright colours.
A special thank you goes to Michelle James for being the parent committee secretary, Mag Muller for her work as Vice President and Rob Dickson as treasurer.
Last but not least I’d like to congratulate and introduce the new committee for 2025
Mag Muller - President
Maria Kikhel - Secretary
Bhavisha Sharma - Treasurer
Please remember, new members are welcome anytime.
Yours sincerely
Tracey Nathan

CEPS Veggie Garden
Thank you to all the families who helped out in the veggie garden this morning. A lot of weeding and planting was accomplished, and the space is looking fantastic! A special thanks to the mums who began dismantling the greenhouse—we truly appreciate everyone's hard work and support.
Talk Money with Ecstra Foundation learning money lessons for life!
Our school participated in the Talk Money with Ecstra Foundation program, which included two interactive workshops designed to help Australian students learn money lessons for life, to be confident talking about money and to make informed financial decisions.
Our Year 5-6 students attended the Talking about money workshops, where they talked about how people think, feel and act with money and learned about the HEARD framework to help them have constructive conversations about money.
The students and teachers enjoyed the workshops and definitely learnt some important financial concepts and lessons about money.

For VIT Card Holders:
If you are a parent with a current VIT Card, please follow this link: Service Victoria | Teacher Notification to notify Working with Children Check Victoria of your child-related volunteer role at our school. This helps us stay updated with your records.

Second Hand Uniform Donations
A big thank you to all the families who donated their second-hand uniforms. We received an incredible response, and even more so from the 2025 Foundation parents eager to purchase these items.
If you still have clean, gently used CEPS uniforms in good condition, we are always accepting donations to support our community. Your contributions make a big difference!
