Halfway Through Term 4 !

We are now officially halfway through Term 4, 2025, and the school is buzzing with energy as we head toward a very busy and exciting finish to the year. Planning is well underway for our end-of-year Presentation Day, where we look forward to celebrating our students’ achievements and growth.

Gymnastics & Swimming Lessons

Our Little Champions Gymnastics program will be visiting for the next five weeks, giving students a fun and active experience to round out the term. We are also hoping to run swimming lessons next year, and will share more information with families once details are confirmed.

Year 5 Captain Speeches

Our Year 5 Captain speeches have been an absolute highlight this week. Each student spoke with confidence, maturity, and a genuine passion for our school. We are incredibly proud of the effort, courage, and leadership shown by all candidates. It’s wonderful to see our emerging leaders stepping up and representing themselves—and their peers—so proudly. Congratulations to every student who took part!

Students voted for 2026 School Captains and Sport Captains. We are resuming having two sporting houses from 2026. The students will be divided into houses in families. Students will also decide on colours and names for these houses. Students in Years 3 to 6 will also have the opportunity to join a leadership group (similar to a SRC) which is being established in 2026.

2026

Organisation for classes for 2026 is now in progress, and we will communicate placements with families later in the term. Teaching and support staff positions have been finalised. We will continue to run 4 classes next year to ensure smaller class sizes.

I will be continuing in my relieving Principal role in 2026.

Farewell to Miss Graham

At the end of the year, we say a heartfelt farewell to Miss Graham, who is heading off to explore the world and begin an exciting new chapter. While we are sad to see her go, we are also incredibly proud of her courage and sense of adventure.

Miss Graham has been a valued member of our school community, bringing enthusiasm, kindness, and a genuine passion for supporting our students. She will be greatly missed by staff, students, and families alike.

We wish her safe travels, unforgettable experiences, and all the very best for the journey ahead. Thank you, Miss Graham — you will always be part of our school family.

School Working Bee – 29 November

Our P&C are hosting a School Working Bee on Saturday, 29 November, between 8.30am - 1pm and we’d love your help! We have a few jobs on the list — including tidying garden beds, removing benches from classrooms and general tidying around the school. There will be moving a heavy cupboard (we will need a trolley to help with this) and some chainsaw work for those suitably experienced.

As always, many hands make light work, and even an hour of your time makes a big difference. All families are welcome to join in and support the continued improvement of our school grounds.

We hope to see you there!

We look forward to a positive and productive second half of the term as we race towards the end of 2025!!
