OSHCLUB News
What a fantastic Week 7 we’ve had at OSHClub! Our days were full of delicious food, hands-on creativity, and energetic outdoor fun as we head toward the end of Term 4.
For Breakfast Club, we started each morning with a warm and welcoming spread. The children enjoyed fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy waffles, sweet french toast, colourful yoghurt cones, and refreshing berry smoothies. It was wonderful to see everyone beginning their day fueled and ready for action.
For Snack Squad, our afternoon meals brought plenty of variety and even a brand-new menu addition! This week we served comforting tomato soup with garlic bread, hearty curry potatoes with rice, and introduced spinach and cheese risotto, which was a hit with many of the children. We also enjoyed classic spaghetti and a fun popcorn afternoon to finish the week.
In the kitchen, the children helped make delicious banana bread. They loved measuring, mixing, and of course tasting their freshly baked treat! Our creative corner was full of colour and imagination. Activities included string art, painting, watercolouring, recycled crafts, and vibrant stained glass crafts. It was great to see so many children experimenting with different textures, techniques, and styles.
Outdoors, everyone stayed active and engaged with group skipping, AFL, giant soccer, gagaball, and team-building challenges. We also rounded out each session with a rotation of group games that encouraged teamwork, strategy, and plenty of laughs.
Last Friday we had a fantastic time celebrating Silly Hair Day! The children (and staff!) arrived with the most colourful, creative, and wonderfully wild hairstyles imaginable. From rainbow spikes to wiggly pipe-cleaner creations, everyone truly embraced the fun. It brought lots of laughs and smiles throughout the day and added a great burst of energy to the end of the week.
Thank you to all our families for another wonderful week. We’re looking forward to even more fun as we continue through the term!
World Children's Day
This week we also celebrated World Children’s Day, embracing the global theme of blue, which represents inclusivity, safety, and support for children everywhere. To mark the day, we offered a range of blue-themed activities that the children absolutely loved. They created floating blue jellyfish crafts, designed blue handprint artworks, made thoughtful blue postcards, and decorated personalised blue name cards. It was a wonderful way for the children to learn about the importance of children’s rights while expressing themselves creatively through colour.

Cancellation of Bookings
IMPORTANT: If your child is booked in for an afternoon Stay and Play session and that booking is no longer required, please cancel the booking on the iParent Portal. If you are cancelling on the day, please contact us on the program phone before 3:15pm.
We are responsible for all children booked into our care. If a child does not arrive after school care when booked in to attend, we will need to confirm the whereabouts of the child by contacting parents/guardians and emergency contacts. If we cannot successfully do this, it then becomes a missing child incident.
As you can imagine, this can be very stressful!
Thanks for your cooperation by notifying us of any Stay and Play absences.
