Hello from 4C

What a wonderful and action-packed term it has been for Grade 4C! A major highlight was their camp at Mill Valley Ranch, where students embraced every opportunity for adventure. They enjoyed horse riding around the arena, testing their aim in archery, and paddling across the lake during canoeing sessions. Camp cooking was another highlight, making damper by the fire. Camp was a memorable experience that helped strengthen friendships and build confidence.
Back at school, the fun continued with the Colour Run in week 5, where students ran and cheered their way through a rainbow of colour to raise money for our school. In the classroom, 4C has been working hard on persuasive writing, learning how to use strong arguments and emotive language to convince their readers. In Mathematics, they’ve been developing their problem-solving skills, applying strategies to tackle multi-step challenges and think creatively.
In Science, the class has been investigating land erosion, exploring how natural forces shape our environment and how humans can protect the land from damage. Their Inquiry unit has focused on early settlement in Australia, helping students understand how communities were established and how life has changed over time.
It’s been a busy term full of learning, discovery, and fun. Grade 4C should be very proud of all they have achieved this year
