Supporting Our Children, Supporting Ourselves

Term 4, 2025

Parenting is one of the most rewarding — and at times, most challenging — roles we take on. At Croydon Hills Primary School, we know that raising children is a journey filled with learning for both children and parents.

This week, we’re shining a light on some trusted parenting and child development experts who provide practical, compassionate advice for families. Whether you’re navigating friendship struggles, big emotions, or the ever-changing world of childhood, these resources can offer encouragement and insight.

💡 Why These Resources Matter

These two Aussie experts emphasise connection, empathy, and understanding over punishment or pressure. They remind us that every child is different, and that parenting is about progress, not perfection. Taking time to explore these ideas can strengthen our relationships with our children and help them thrive both at home and at school.
