We acknowledge and reflect on this special day and remember
the courage and sacrifice of those who served their country and acknowledge our responsibility to work for the peace they fought hard to achieve.
Lest we forget.
Remembrance Day is celebrated on November 11 each year to honour and remember all the men and women who have served, fought, and died in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping missions around the world. It marks the anniversary of the end of World War 1 in 1918. On this day, we pause for a minute of silence at 11 o’clock to reflect on the courage and sacrifice of those who gave their lives for peace and freedom.
To commemorate this day we invite parents and careers to attend our remembrance day celebration on Tuesday 11th of November at 10.45pm which will be led by our school leaders.
Our Socktober celebration was a wonderful success! The school was filled with colour, laughter, and lots of crazy socks as students and staff came together to support a meaningful cause. Socktober is a special initiative that raises awareness of children around the world who are living in poverty and encourages us to think about ways we can make a positive difference in their lives.
Through our collective generosity, our school community raised an impressive $293.00 - a fantastic achievement that will help support those in need. A heartfelt thank you to all families for your donations and for embracing the spirit of compassion and solidarity that Socktober represents.

Last week as a Catholic faith learning community, we remembered and acknowledged All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day. These special days invite us to pause, reflect, and give thanks.
On All Saints’ Day, we honoured all the saints — both known and unknown — who have lived lives of faith, love, and service to God. They are shining examples for us to follow, reminding us to live with kindness, courage, and compassion in our own lives.
On All Souls’ Day, we took the time to remember and pray for all our loved ones who have passed away. It is a time of hope and comfort as we reflect on the promise of eternal life and the loving presence of God that unites us all, both in heaven and on earth. As a community, we hold in our hearts all those who have gone before us and give thanks for the ways they have touched our lives with their love, wisdom, and faith.
As part of their ongoing faith learning and spiritual development, the children will attend Mass throughout the term. Mass is celebrated each Tuesday at 9:15am in the church, providing time for prayer, reflection, and connection with our parish community.
On Tuesday the 11th November 5/6NT, FAM and FOS will be attending Mass. We warmly invite all parents and carers to join us in this special occasion.
God bless and have a great week.
