CASH ONLY ON THE DAY - no pre orders.

Students will come out in their class groups with their teachers to purchase their lunch.

A fundraiser by your school captains!! All profit goes towards a special project chosen by Benny & Xanthe. Remaining money raised goes to our school :-)

Boys Netball day. 

THIS YEAR'S EVENT WAS PLAYED AT KNOX REGIONAL NETBALL CENTRE, FERNTREE GULLY ON THURSDAY 9TH NOVEMBER 2023         

There were 170 games played at the boy’s inaugural Netball Gala day. Games were 20min blocks. 2 x 7min halves with 2 min half time and 4 min changeover. 

Marlborough PS  entered two teams. A 5/6 team that played in Division A plus  a 3 / 4 team that played in Division B. Our pool consisted of 14 teams and each team played 6 games each. 

It was such a fun day where the boys got the opportunity to play, appreciate and champion the game of Netball.  

Netball is a fantastic game to play, its fast, physical with a high skill and strategic base which can appeal to all.

The launch of the SSV 12yr Under Boys Netball team in 2023 has again highlighted the importance of removing negative stereotypes around sport.............sport is for everyone not what history has dictated.

The boys all represented MPS brilliantly with great sportsmanship and activeness. The games were quick and tiring. The standard was excellent. Out of the 8 games we won 2- 3 games in our Divisions. 

Special mention goes to parent helper Georgia Allan who assisted in the organisation of Division B team. Division A was fortunate to have Mel our netball coach for Phoenix to volunteer her time and assist in the coaching. Thank you to Trevor Elliot and Tanya Haynes – Ford who also offered their support for the day. 

So proud of all these boys. It was a fantastic day.
