TheirCare - Our Before, After, and School Holiday Care in 2024 and Beyond
After an extensive selection process, we are excited to announce our partnership with TheirCare as our Out of School Hours Care provider from the beginning of the first term in 2024. They come highly recommended and have impressed the school council with their presentation of the program for our school community.
We encourage you to join the information session on the 30th of November at 6:30 pm. You can access the session through this link. If you are even just considering using their services, please come along to see what they have to offer.
We look forward to TheirCare becoming a valuable part of our community in 2024.
Pizza Night Reflections
Thank you to those who attended our Community Pizza Night. It was a great opportunity to come together, catch up, and provide a platform to hear your valuable insights and wishes for our school.
I, alongside our teachers, have had the opportunity to read all of your comments. We look forward to your contributions influencing the planning of our 2024 Annual Implementation Plan.
Based on the feedback on the night and in conversations I have had since, this won't be the last opportunity we have to do this. I look forward to more of these occasions in the future.
For those who couldn't make it on the rescheduled date, I would like to apologise for having to move the night. Unfortunately, sickness came at the wrong time.
Minor Capital Works Grant
Earlier this term, we submitted a minor capital works application to the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA). We are hopeful that this grant will be approved. If so, it will give us an opportunity to build some permanent and operable (moveable) walls in some of our classrooms and replace parts of the ceiling across the school.
We feel that we have submitted a strong case, and we eagerly await the result.
Working Bee
This Sunday, the 19th of November, from 1:00 pm, we have our working bee. This is a great opportunity to connect with others in the community and help us do some much-needed work across the school.
Any help, even if it is only an hour or so, would be greatly appreciated.
2024 Intentions
Thank you to those families who have informed us of your intentions for 2024.
Class Structures
While we are still a number of weeks away from assigning teachers to grades, we do have some news that we can share about the class structures across the school next year. At this stage, we will have the following grade structures:
1 x Foundation class
2 x 1/2 classes
2 x 3/4 classes
2 x 5/6 classes
Warm regards,
