Years 7-9 AEP, Homework Mentor Program
Welcome back to another exciting year of our wonderful Academic Excellence Program for Year 7 – 9 students.
The Academic Excellence Program (AEP) at St Norbert College provide students with the opportunity to extend their learning both in the classroom and beyond. Participation in the program provides an opportunity to develop creativity, collaboration and problem solving as part of their preparation for life beyond school. The program is aligned with the College motto of being, “Prepared for all good works”, through fun extension activities.
The Year 7-9 students will meet weekly on Friday mornings to learn in depth about organisation, habits and complex thinking, amongst other things. Each term students will be immersed into at least one research project where they can use their new skills.
If you are interested in participating in the Academic Excellence Program, please complete the Expression of Interest form and hand it to Mrs Cardenia (Maths office). The form is attached to the Academic Excellence direct message.
I look forward to another rewarding year.
Students from Year Nine Extension classes are invited to volunteer their services to assist the Year Seven’s at Homework Help club. In return you will be given service hours. If you are interested, please email Mrs Cardenia.
