A fabulous weekend was had at the College.

Wildcats Game

All students who attended the Wildcats excursion behaved in an exemplary manner and were a credit to the College.  All of them, without prompting, thanked staff at one point or another for taking them on the excursion.  In turn, staff showed their appreciation of this by discussing with students the importance of expressing gratitude for the opportunities we are given.

The excursion involved three stops, Carousel Shopping Centre, Kings Park and the RAC Arena.  After a two-hour stop at the Carousel, they headed to Kings Park for a picnic lunch and a short but nice walk around the Lottery West Federation Walkway treetops.

It was an exciting Wildcats game that the students enjoyed, with the lead changing several times before the Wildcats managed to hold the lead and take the win!

Sunday was a quiet day relaxing at the College with some students cooking brownies in the kitchen.

Weekly Activities

Students are still competing in the local basketball competition in town, which involves playing and umpiring on Monday, and umpiring and training on Tuesday and Wednesday. This involves a lot of transportation by staff, so can we please ask that students submit their leave with accurate times so we can coordinate and limit the amount of time off-site by staff.

Year 11 Departure

Next week the Year 11s head off for their end-of-year break, but before they depart, students are required to clear their rooms. To speed up this process, can I remind students that the following items are mandatory to have in your room to assist with departure. The dorm key and padlock, laundry tub and boot box all of which are issued specifically to each room.

Year 11 Boarder End of Year Dinner

On Thursday night the 16th November,  we are taking all Year 11 Boarding students who are on good standing out for the evening.  This year we are off to The Crooked Carrot at Myalup, this is non-compulsory and if you do not wish your child to attend, please contact me directly.

2024 Driving Policy

A reminder to all current self-driving students and any students who get their licence before returning for 2024. The 2024 Student Driving Policy is now available and needs to be completed and returned to the College before your child drives to the site for 2024.
