We had a great time participating in initiative games and lisstening to guest sspeakers Jed Zimmer and our very own Ms Dearn.  Ms Dearn presented her perception and experience as a leader and Jed shared his story, highlighting the importance of open communication of our problems and struggles. With support, we can all get through challenging times. Being a good role model within our community and taking care of our mental and physical health is crucial in being the best we can be.

Thank you Jed! You are an inspiration. Thanks to Damien Zappelli for cooking the BBQ.

The year 5’s are eager to show good leadership in our community and voting will begin in coming weeks.

Thank you Golden Square Fire Brigade for taking time to share your story, explain your roles and showcase the trucks. You are our heroes! Special thank you to Captain Brian Greenwood and Leon Waddington - Sierra and Mason’s family.

Emergency Services Immersion

This was a wonderful experience listening to the stories of Leesa (Police), Brett Walsh (SES) and Andrew Cooney (Bendigo Council). These wonderful people provide emergency services to our community and we are truly blessed to have these amazing humans! Grade 5/6 were in awe of their roles and how they help so many during crisis including natural disasters such as flood and fire.
