POPPY PROJECT

The Defence Poppy Project is in full swing.

Last week Mrs She-Ron James visited us to teach us how to make crochet poppies. It was a little more tricky than we expected but we had heaps of fun. Lots of students took wool and crochet hooks home to practise. We have grandmas and families also taking wool home to keep the project going at home. Our wreaths will be made from a mix of our felt and crochet poppies.

On Tuesday after school, the 3 schools are meeting at the Cerberus Community Hub to make more poppies and have afternoon tea together.

REMEMBRANCE DAY SERVICE

At 10:30am on Saturday 11th November, there will be a Remembrance Day service at the Crib Point cenotaph.
